Waterside Living at Sutton Harbour

Life at Sutton Harbour

Beautiful Waterside Properties

Sutton Harbour offers superior waterfront living opportunities with some of Plymouth’s finest waterside properties available.

Located in the heart of Plymouth, Britain’s Ocean City, nestled in SW Devon, bordering Cornwall. Sutton Harbour is an especially enviable location offering an outstanding selection of residential accommodation, offices, restaurants, cafes, bars, shops, galleries and year-round visitor attractions overlooking the 5 Gold Anchor Sutton Harbour Marina.

A Vibrant Waterfront Culture

Sutton Harbour enjoys a vibrant waterfront culture and is just a short stroll from Plymouth’s city centre, with apartments enjoying spectacular views over the Marina and Plymouth Sound.

Property in Sutton Harbour ranges from one-bed apartments to luxury penthouses with balconies, all nestled within the cobbled streets of the historic waterfront alongside the famous Barbican quarter.

Sutton Harbour Group is progressing two exciting new projects which will see a further 184 luxury apartments created.

Sugar Quay

Sugar Quay will be a striking new development to transform the Plymouth skyline with a 21 storey, staggered height building created in a distinctive T-shape.

The contemporary design will enable each of the 170 high-quality new apartments to enjoy waterside views from private roof terraces or generous balconies, as well as providing a signature building to frame Plymouth’s waterfront.

Sugar Quay will also deliver 30,000 sq ft of high quality retail and leisure space and improvements to the public domain with a welcoming new waterfront boulevard.

Harbour Arch Quay

Harbour Arch Quay will offer 12 elegantly fitted waterside apartments and two luxurious penthouses in an eight-storey building enjoying stunning views across Sutton Harbour Marina, the Barbican, Plymouth Sound and beyond.

This new waterside property will feature six two-bed apartments, six three-bed apartments and two three-bed penthouses.

The apartments and penthouses have all been designed to optimise the impressive views from its South West-facing location, and provide further luxury living opportunities on the waterfront.

Sutton Road East

Sutton Harbour Group is preparing to submit three linked full planning applications to comprehensively redevelop the sites in phases.

The £50million scheme would create an attractive new residential quarter to the east of Sutton Road, connected by a wide public square and walkway leading directly to the waterfront via the Group’s striking £60 million Sugar Quay development offering waterside apartments, shops and restaurants.

The Sutton Road East residential developments would establish a new pedestrian connection for residents of Prince Rock, Cattedown and Coxside, better connecting surrounding residential communities with the harbour and the city centre via a new walkway.

Previous Developments

Sutton Harbour Group has a strong track record of delivering major regeneration projects which have transformed the historic waterfront in Plymouth.

Previous developments have included:

  • Pinnacle Quay, offering 37 apartments and two ground floor retail units based within a nine-storey mixed-use development overlooking the marina.

  • East Quay House, a 10-storey, mixed-use development with 56 residential apartments along with three ground floor commercial and retail units for restaurants and shops.

  • Penrose House in Sutton Road, with a 10-storey mixed-use residential and commercial development created in partnership with Sovereign Housing Association, featuring 109 apartments.

Live & Work

These new neighbourhoods have been developed alongside two prestigious office buildings at Salt Quay House and North Quay house, helping to transform Sutton Harbour into a highly popular location to both live and work within which offers an outstanding quality of life.

The regeneration of Plymouth’s historic Sutton Harbour will be furthered with the development of Sutton Harbour Group’s two new pivotal mixed-use residential and commercial schemes at Sugar Quay and Harbour Arch Quay.
