Plymouth is nestled between Devon and Cornwall, with some of the UK’s best scenery surrounding the city in Dartmoor, South East Cornwall and the South Hams.
Sutton Harbour is in the very heart of Plymouth, and there is plenty of parking in the area.
By Foot
From the city centre, it’s an easy five-minute walk: cross Royal Parade and continue along Princess Street to Notte Street.
Turn left and continue on to Vauxhall Street, then turn right at Looe Street to reach the harbour.
By Car
Join the A38 Devon Expressway to Plymouth and follow signs for Sutton Harbour and the Barbican.
Ample long-stay parking is available at Harbour Car Park – follow the brown visitor signs after exiting the A38. You can pay on-site by coins, card or mobile device.

Bus services are operated by Plymouth Citybus
Regular direct train services to Plymouth operate from across the UK, including a direct Great Western Railway route from London Paddington. Plymouth Railway Station is a short walk from Sutton Harbour through the city centre.

By Sea
Cross channel ferries operated by Brittany Ferries sail from Plymouth to France and Spain and the port is based at Millbay, a 15-minute walk from the city centre.
Sail into Sutton Harbour Marina from Plymouth Sound. The marina is accessed via Sutton Lock (50º21’.98N 04º07’.96W). Call the lock on 01752 204732 or VHF Channel 12.
