Temporary closure of Sutton Harbour pedestrian footbridge

The Sutton Harbour pedestrian footbridge will be closed to the public for a 3-day period from Wednesday 5th May until early morning on Saturday 8th May to enable essential maintenance and engineering works to take place to keep the bridge in good working order.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this closure.

Pedestrians wishing to cross between the Barbican quarter and East Quay while the footbridge is closed can use the 1-mile circular Sutton Harbour Heritage Trail footpath, following the signs to walk from the Mayflower Steps around Sutton Harbour to reach the National Marine Aquarium.
