Sutton Harbour Heritage Trail app now live

Sutton Harbour Group is delighted to have partnered with Plymouth City Council on the creation of a new app to support a walking trail around Plymouth’s historic waterfront.

The Sutton Harbour Heritage Trail is one of 3 partner trails available to download via the free app for visitors to Plymouth, so they can discover more about the fascinating history of Sutton Harbour during a one-mile circular walk around the harbourside.

The Plymouth Trails app features three core trails including a key trail created for Mayflower 400 UK, supported by Mayflower Trail place markers sited along the Barbican and Sutton Harbour, offering an interactive journey through Plymouth as it was in 1620.

There are also trails for Plymouth City Centre and Plymouth Hoe, so people can explore more of the city’s rich heritage as they enjoy guided walks around Britain’s Ocean City.

“I’m so please that we could include the Sutton Harbour Heritage Trail as one of the first partner trails in the new app,” said Hannah Pooley, Trails Officer. “It’s such a fantastic walk around the harbour, and the team have brought the existing trail up to date with new images and content.

“Sutton Harbour makes an appearance in four of the six trails currently in the app, which shows that it really is at the heart of the city.”

The free app is available for download from the Apple App Store or via Google Play to work on all devices
