LOCK ACCESS RESTRICTIONS DURING ESSENTIAL LOCK GATES WORK

The first phase of a major repair and refurbishment project on the lock gates in Sutton Harbour took place from September to December 2023. The second phase will take place from January to April 2024.

During these essential works there will be times of restricted access through the lock which means that the normal freeflow timetable does not apply.

Instead, a lock access timetable will be in operation and is available by following this link to the dedicated project website.

Please also note that the Duty Lock Keeper will also broadcast on VHF CH 12, on the hour from 07.00 to 19.00 daily during the works, updating access times. Vessels are advised to listen to these broadcasts for the most accurate passage times through the lock.

Documentation

It’s important for new and existing berth holders as well as visitors to be aware of a range of key information before attending the marina.

Our experienced team are always here to help and can answer any questions on the marina and its operations, however, we encourage those visiting the marina to see the detailed information in these PDFs.

The documents highlight important details on safety procedures, harbour directions and our responsibility to the environment. They also explain our locking procedure and lock dimensions which is critical for berth holders and visiting vessels to be aware of in order to enter the marina via the set of double lock gates. Our Marina Plan can assist you in locating individual berths and we also offer more information on our location and nearby waters.
